Thoughts
The second power up is meant to inform me of the eventual systems required for power ups going forward. Often, I like to make multiples of one thing because this allows me to understand what they are going to share in common, which then informs my later decisions for system-wide implementation. I have this same reasoning for the particles, players, and other things within the game.
I feel now I'm at a place where I can focus on gameplay feedback. I'm cheating a bit here, and went ahead and got DoTween. Pretty easy system and it's a large time saver. I'm already starting to test these out, the animations with the goal and scoring for one. Again, I'm looking at what these objects will have in common, so I can implement them at a system level. This also means eventually I'll be making another level (and let's be honest, that just means another cube for now =p).
Known Bugs
Sometimes the CPU will suffer an existential crisis (omg, is this my life? just to grab the ball and score over and over?) and huddle together and spin in circles. It's best just to end their torment when this occurs by winning the game, and thus destroying them.
